Assessment Services

Our psychological assessment services provide comprehensive evaluations to better understand emotional, behavioral, developmental, and learning needs. Through a thoughtful, individualized process, our team helps clarify concerns and guide appropriate next steps.

Overview

Assessment services are designed to help individuals and families gain a clearer understanding of emotional, behavioral, developmental, and learning needs. Through a thoughtful and collaborative process, our team works to identify strengths, clarify concerns, and provide information that can guide next steps.

Evaluations are conducted by licensed psychologists and tailored to the specific questions or concerns that bring someone in for assessment.

What Assessments Can Help With

Assessment services may help address a range of concerns, including:

  • Attention and executive functioning challenges (such as ADHD)
  • Autism spectrum related needs
  • Emotional and behavioral concerns
  • Developmental functioning
  • Learning difficulties
  • Differential diagnosis and treatment planning

Each evaluation is personalized to ensure the process and recommendations reflect individual needs and goals.

What to Expect

The assessment process typically begins with a comprehensive interview to better understand current concerns, background information, and the questions you hope to answer through evaluation.

When testing is appropriate, the clinician selects assessment measures best matched to each individual. The process may include interviews, questionnaires, standardized testing, and observations, and may take place over one or more appointments depending on the scope of the evaluation.

After testing is complete, the clinician meets with the individual or family to review findings, explain results in clear and understandable terms, and discuss recommendations. A written report is provided to support ongoing care and coordination with schools, providers, or community resources as appropriate.

Our Approach

Our approach to assessment is grounded in respect, collaboration, and evidence‑based practice. We focus on providing meaningful, practical information while ensuring individuals and families feel informed and supported throughout the evaluation process.

Assessments are conducted with care and transparency, with attention to the whole person and the context in which concerns occur.
