On September 30th, Boys Town North Florida board member Gannon Cooper and her husband Josh, a Food Network featured pit master, opened the doors of their home to welcome friends of Boys Town to sit back and learn more about the art of barbequing.
Josh gave a presentation on smoking and barbequing to the Boys Town board members and donors in attendance. After the presentation, everyone had the opportunity to enjoy delicious food and drinks while networking with other attendees.
Overall, the seminar consisted of great food, exceptional company, and generous donations benefiting Boys Town. $15,750 was raised and a generous donor matched the donations. Boys Town North Florida is very thankful to the Cooper's for opening their home and for everyone who attended the event! They hope to do it again sometime soon!
