“Dear Santa, what I really want for Christmas this year is a giant stuffed teddy bear as big as me! Your friend, Tristan.”
Each holiday season, the children and teens in Boys Town Louisiana’s care write their letters to Santa, sharing their wishes for Christmas morning. Max is asking for comic books. Phoebe wants a makeup set. Jase hopes for a Captain America shield. Skyla is wishing for a pair of black Air Force shoes.
Most of these young people are in foster care or cannot live safely at home. They’ll spend the holidays in our family homes or short-term shelter, surrounded by friends in our programs and our caring, dedicated staff.
As Father Flanagan said, “When you help a child today, you write the history of tomorrow.” Your gift brings that idea to life! Each contribution helps make these children’s wishes come true and reminds our kids that they are seen, valued, and loved during the holidays.
Thank you for helping make the season bright for every child at Boys Town Louisiana!
