Tara Borsh, Psy.D., Clinic Director
Tara Borsh, Psy.D., is the Director of the Boys Town Nevada Behavioral Health Clinic in Las Vegas. She is a licensed psychologist specializing in individual and family therapy, and training for parents of children of all ages, from toddlers through adolescence. Dr. Borsh also provides psychological evaluations and community training and education on behavioral health issues.
Dr. Borsh received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. She completed her doctoral internship at Grand Prairie Services, a community-based center in the south suburbs of Chicago, and her post-doctoral fellowship at the Boys Town Center for Behavioral HealthSM in Omaha, Nebraska, specializing in behavioral pediatrics.
Dr. Borsh enjoys working with parenting issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, disruptive behaviors and elimination disorders.

Rachele Merk, Ph.D., Staff Psychologist
Rachele Merk, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist at the Boys Town Nevada Behavioral Health Clinic in Las Vegas. She specializes in providing evidence-based care to children and families through individual and family therapy, and psychodiagnostic evaluations for learning, cognitive, and social-emotional concerns. Dr. Merk received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2017 from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). She completed an APA accredited internship at UCLA’s Semel Institute of Neuroscience and Human Behavior within the OCD and Intensive Anxiety Track, focusing on providing care to disorders such as OCD, selective mutism and body focused repetitive behaviors (e.g. trichotillomania and Tourette’s). She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at UNLV’s the PRACTICE: A community mental health clinic, focusing on providing clinical supervision and training to clinicians, and evidence-based care through group and individual therapy for young adults, and children and their parents. Dr. Merk enjoys providing evidence-based treatment for anxiety, selective mutism, obsessive compulsive disorder and related body-focused repetitive behaviors (e.g. skin picking, Tourette’s and hairpulling (trichotillomania)), depression, parenting issues, disruptive behaviors and ADHD.

Jason A. Kiss, Psy.D., Staff Psychologist
Jason A. Kiss, Psy.D., is a Staff Psychologist at the Boys Town Nevada Behavioral Health Clinic in Las Vegas. A licensed psychologist specializing in issues related to diversity, Dr. Kiss works with children and adolescents who are facing challenges in the areas of assertiveness, shyness and social anxiety, identity development and interpersonal relationships. He also has conducted trainings for professionals on issues to consider when working with members of the LGBT+ community.
Dr. Kiss earned his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles. He completed a doctoral internship in the University Counseling Center at California State University, Northridge, and completed his post-doctorate hours at BHcare in Ansonia, Connecticut, a community mental health center. There, he worked with an extremely diverse population, focusing on individual therapy while creating group programs to fit community needs. He also has worked with children and adolescents in an inpatient psychiatric hospital, focusing on triage and healthy coping skills.
Alyssa Gallagher, Psy.D., Staff Psychologist
Alyssa Gallagher, Psy.D., is a licensed psychologist at Boys Town Nevada Behavioral Health Clinic in Las Vegas. She specializes in providing evidence-based care to children, adolescents and families, through individual and family therapy. She also provides psychodiagnostic evaluations for learning, cognitive and social-emotional concerns.
Dr. Gallagher received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2021 from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Anaheim, California. She completed an APA accredited internship focused on child and adolescent therapy at Frontier Health in Scott County, Virginia. She also completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Boys Town Behavioral Health Clinic in Nevada, where she continued to focus on honing her therapeutic and psychodiagnostic skills. Dr. Gallagher’s clinical training has focused on providing services in low-income, rural and community mental health settings. She enjoys working with children, adolescents and families struggling with managing anxiety, interpersonal difficulties, depression, assertiveness, ADHD behaviors, disruptive behaviors, parenting issues, communication challenges and traumatic experiences.
