As Boys Town Iowa celebrates our 30th anniversary this year, I want to sincerely thank all of our donors.
For three decades, you have been right there for us, supporting every child we've saved and every family we've healed. Without you, so many would not have found the hope they needed.
As we reflect on our first 30 years, I am excited for the future as we work with more community partners to truly make a positive impact and change the lives of children and families in need.
Since opening in 1989, Boys Town Iowa has focused on meeting the needs of youth and families through a variety of programs and services. We have continued to expand our services, and now serve more than 1,100 families and 2,200 children in Iowa each year.
Recently at our Fathers Matter event in Iowa, we asked some attendees what Boys Town means to Iowa.
We invite you to also share your memories on what Boys Town Iowa has meant to you over the past 30 years. We are honored to have been a part of improving the lives of kids for so long, and I look forward to working with you – old friends and new – as we chart our course for the future!
