LIFT Together with Boys Town provides support both in the school and home environment in order to generate communitywide impact in Las Vegas.

In 2014, we began partnering with high-needs schools in Las Vegas to strengthen the families of struggling students. Encouraged by the early outcomes, including better attendance and improved parent engagement at school, The Latin Chamber of Commerce, local philanthropists and several school principals called upon Boys Town Nevada to expand and enhance these partnerships. Fully implemented in the 2018-2019 school year, LIFT Together with Boys Town incorporates parent-training classes, in-home family consulting, case management, behavioral health services and professional development for educators. To learn more about our partnerships, please contact Jessica Sasso at jessica.sasso@boystown.org.

During the 2019-2020 school year, Boys Town Nevada partnered with 9 local schools, and five of which have fully implemented the LIFT Together model. An extensive evaluation is underway at these schools, and early results are promising: one school reported a 54% decline in behavior incident reports. We hope to continue to grow the number of schools receiving these services with your support.

Boys Town Nevada is continuing our support for school staff by providing summer training session on a variety of topics centered around social-emotional learning. Join us to gain tools and learn strategies for supporting the social-emotional development and behavior management of children 0-18.
