The Holidays at Boys Town North Florida

The holiday season at Boys Town North Florida was marked by heartwarming events that brought joy and generosity to our community. Thanksgiving saw an incredible gesture from the Tallahassee Center for Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy, as it donated 22 turkeys and hams to ensure a festive meal for Boys Town Family Homes and local Foster Families. The staff's personal contributions added a special touch, and with 22 $100 gift cards, they ensured every family could enjoy their Thanksgiving favorites.

Operation Christmas at Charlie Park, hosted by The Big Bend Group, was a resounding success, flooding Boys Town North Florida with an abundance of presents for our youth. The Tallahassee community's overwhelming generosity made this event truly magical. Special thanks go to sponsors, The Big Bend Group, Smith, Thompson, Shaw, Colón & Power, and ServisFirst Bank, for their invaluable support.

An iconic tradition, the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on the Family Home Campus, brought together families, youth, donors and staff. From the cherished chili cook-off to the DJ's festive tunes, the event was a spectacle of holiday spirit. A snowball fight, ornament decorating station, and hot chocolate added to the camaraderie, creating lasting memories for all who attended.

Reflecting on these heartwarming moments, Boys Town North Florida extends deep gratitude to the Tallahassee community and our dedicated sponsors. Your generosity has brightened the lives of our youth and families, fostering a sense of warmth and togetherness that truly embodies the spirit of the holidays.
