This past December was one of the most joyful and impactful holiday seasons we’ve experienced at Boys Town North Florida thanks to our donors and the Tallahassee community.
We kicked off the month with our annual Tree Lighting on our group home campus, a tradition that brings together our youth, staff and community partners in celebration. Esposito Garden Center generously donated a beautiful Christmas tree that became the centerpiece of the evening. Our staff brought their best recipes for a chili cook‑off, while volunteers from Florida State University and the Junior League of Tallahassee helped the event run seamlessly from start to finish.
Three local companies stepped up to donate firewood for our bonfire, creating the perfect backdrop for a night filled with crafts, caroling, dancing and hot chocolate. Our Family Homes even joined in a Christmas lights contest that brought a welcoming and bright atmosphere to campus.
As the month came to a close, our Hope for the Holidays campaign wrapped up a remarkable year of generosity. Thanks to 40 incredibly thoughtful donors, 80 children received a holiday they will never forget. Each gift was chosen with care, making every child feel seen and celebrated. The magic of the season was unforgettable, and we have our donors to thank for creating those unforgettable moments.
As we reflect on 2025, we are deeply grateful for the life‑changing support that made the work of Boys Town North Florida possible. Our donors’ generosity strengthened families, uplifted children and fueled our mission in ways that will be felt for years.
Looking ahead to 2026, we are filled with hope and excitement. With these continued partnerships, we know we can reach even more children and families across North Florida and create another year of meaningful impact together.
