Fall Festival Fun: Building Community, One Game at a Time

This year’s Fall Festival was one for the books at Boys Town North Florida! Our campus was full of laughter, friendly competition and plenty of sugar, as all of our Family Homes came together for an unforgettable afternoon of fun.

Each home created and ran its own carnival-style game. From basketball shoot-outs to water gun challenges to a classic cake walk. The kids proudly ran their booths and welcomed foster youth from the wider Tallahassee community, making the event feel even more meaningful.

We also brought back our Fall Bake-Off. The judges had a tough time making their selections with so many delicious desserts to choose from.

A special shoutout goes to our amazing Family-Teachers, who always go above and beyond to make every moment special for our kids. And an extra thank you to our Family Home Program consultant, Jonathon, for frying up fresh, homemade corn dogs that were gone almost as fast as they were served.

It was more than a festival — it was family in action. At Boys Town, we don’t just host events. We build memories, traditions and community.
