After facing a difficult period of time that resulted in spending time away from her children, a Florida mom, Julie, returned home ready to strengthen her family’s future and was referred to Boys Town North Florida’s In‑Home Family Services (IHFS). When Hannah Stein, IHFS consultant, began working with Julie, she immediately recognized a mother deeply committed to her children.
From the very beginning, Julie demonstrated remarkable motivation and openness to learning. She eagerly partnered with Hannah, embracing new parenting tools and strategies from the Boys Town Model. Together, they worked on positive motivation systems, skill‑building techniques, joy jars and other approaches designed to strengthen family relationships and support healthy routines.
Hannah shared that Julie was consistently engaged, proactive and committed to applying what she learned. Her dedication not only supported her immediate goals but also laid a strong foundation for long‑term success. Throughout services, Hannah also assisted Julie in navigating the court process, ensuring she felt supported.
During Julie’s final week of services, her hard work resulted in a joyful milestone as her children were reunified and returned home. Together, the family began practicing their new skills, creating a home environment filled with new structure and encouragement.
By partnering closely with her consultant throughout her 12 weeks of services, Juile worked intentionally toward healing, strengthening and unifying her family. Her resilience, willingness to grow and deep commitment to her children have created a strong and promising future for her entire household.
