Boys Town North Florida recognized Foster Family Services youth in September with an end-of-summer Water Day Youth Awards Bash.
The newest children were sworn in as official Citizens of Boys Town, where they learned they will forever be a part of the Boys Town family no matter how long or short their stay is.
During the celebration, each youth received superlatives to highlight their achievements and best attributes, including “Most Spirited,” “Most Improved,” and “Most Courageous.”
After the ceremony, youth enjoyed a pizza party followed by water balloons, a Slip ‘N Slide and shaving cream sensory fun.
Memories were made, fun was had by all and foster parents (hopefully) got to enjoy an evening of worn-out kids. It was a day our Foster Family youth will not soon forget.
