A Night of Music, Mission and Meaning: Second Annual Chords for Charity Event a Big Success

Boys Town North Florida’s Second Annual Chords for Charity proved to be an unforgettable evening of heart, harmony and hope in support of the children and families we serve right here in Tallahassee.

The event, held at The Moon, brought together community members, sponsors and supporters who shared in our mission of changing the way America cares for children and families. Thanks to their generosity, we raised vital funds that will directly support the youth and families who call Boys Town home.

The evening began with a warm welcome from Boys Town’s Development Director, Mary Rose McCarron Pounders. That was followed by an inspiring opening prayer led by our Junior Ambassador, a remarkable 12-year-old from one of our Family Homes, who serves as a role model for his peers. Guests were deeply moved by his poise and leadership, a true reflection of the Boys Town spirit.

One of the most powerful moments of the night came when Tryton, a former Boys Town youth, took the stage to share his story. His words were a reminder of the lasting impact of Boys Town’s mission and how community support can truly change lives.

As the evening continued, guests enjoyed an exciting live auction and a high-energy finale featuring an incredible dueling pianos performance by Brad Heron Entertainment. The night ended on a high note with the crowd singing, clapping and celebrating the difference their support makes every day.

Thanks to everyone who attended, sponsored and gave from the heart. Chords for Charity continues to grow as one of Tallahassee’s most meaningful and memorable charity events. Together, we are ensuring the children and families of Boys Town North Florida have every opportunity to build brighter futures.
