For the second straight year, Boys Town New England had an impressive and record-setting show of support on Rhode Island’s 401 Gives Day. Boys Town supporters came through in a big way as donations increased by 36 percent from last year’s previous record-setting year.
When the final numbers were counted, Boys Town New England raised $40,672. Participation was just as impressive. For the second straight year over 300 unique donors made gifts to Boys Town.
“As was the case last year, I continue to be amazed and humbled by all the support people showed for Boys Town during our 401 Gives campaign,” Director of Fundraising Glenn Hofmann said. “Whether it be individuals who have given to Boys Town in the past, or first-time donors, the support helps us continue to operate and improve our programming. This results in giving the boys, girls, and families we work with a better life experience. This year in particular, donations will help us with our summer enrichment and foster care programming.”
Of the 550 non-profit organizations in the state of Rhode Island, Boys Town New England received the 11th highest cash donation total. It ranked second among all non-profits in the state.
