Caedan Wallace leaves impression on Boys Town New England

To Caedan Wallace, Caedan Cares, and the entire New England Patriots organization: THANK YOU for your ongoing partnership with Boys Town New England. GO PATS!

Also be sure to read The Providence Journal's recent story on the Patriots' fantastic work with not just Boys Town, but countless other wonderful RI nonprofits.

"Each Sunday, the impact of the New England Patriots this season has seemed pretty obvious.

Once again, Gillette Stadium is packed. Game time is must-see TV, and everyone is talking about Drake Maye and his wife, Ann Michael Maye. And while the buzz following games lingers on sports pages, talk shows and podcasts, the impact off the field goes much deeper.

Beyond the touchdowns and the MVP talk, the impact of the Patriots is also being felt much closer to home for area nonprofits. They include personal interactions between children and members of the Patriots that create lasting memories and bring smiles to faces that are hard to wipe off.

A partnership between the Patriots and the Portsmouth campus of Boys Town New England has blossomed into events at training camp, and a member of the Patriots representing the organization that provides "life-changing care to tens of thousands of children and families in Rhode Island and surrounding states" through the NFL's annual My Cause, My Cleats initiative.

"There is no question that the My Cause, My Cleats campaign brought Boys Town New England an awareness that we had never had before," Glenn Hofmann, director of development, said. "Being associated with the NFL and an NFL player is very powerful, and it helps us to raise awareness in all of the programs we offer in New England and also nationally."
