This spring, Boys Town Louisiana was honored to take part in two special events celebrating investment in youth and community.
We joined the National Basketball Association in the NBA Foundation’s celebration of New Orleans grantees, attending the New Orleans Pelicans vs. Los Angeles Clippers game and a reception at Café Reconcile. It was an inspiring evening spent alongside a powerful cohort of local organizations working collaboratively to create opportunity and invest in the lives of young people and communities across our region.
We also participated in the Fore!Kids Foundation check presentation ceremony at St. Michael’s Special School, where we stood alongside dozens of youth-serving organizations from across Southeast Louisiana. We’re deeply grateful to be among the recipients and to continue our mission of strengthening families and helping youth reach their full potential.
Together, these events remind us that when communities invest in children, the future gets brighter for everyone.
