Marcy Shyllon enters her 20th year of serving children and families at Boys Town. She began her career at the Philadelphia site working with at-risk youth in the juvenile justice system in both a direct care and supervisory role. During her tenure at our New England site, Marcy has held a variety of leadership roles in the Family Home Program, Foster Family Services Program and as the site’s first Community Engagement Director.  In this Director role, she collaborated both internally and externally to build partners and secure funding to start a preventative care program in the Pawtucket School district, now known as LIFT with Boys Town. Through this role, Marcy supervised employees and provided direct services to clients through our Common Sense Parenting, In-Home Family Services, Care Coordination and School Support Services.

For the past eight years, Marcy has served as Senior Director of Program Operations where she manages the operations of the Family Home Program and Foster Family Services Program in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Marcy attributes her success to having the privilege to work within an organization that is established operating with high-quality expectations and principals as well as having the honor to work with exceptional colleagues and teams throughout the years that have inspired and driven her success. She completed both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in behavior science and human services administration at Bellevue University through a Boys Town cohort program, complimenting the training and work experience in her career at Boys Town. Marcy currently lives in North Attleboro, Massachusettes with her husband Felix and is a mother to three thriving sons and daughter.

Glenn Hofmann is in his third year serving as Director of Development. Under Glenn’s leadership, donation revenue has increased by nearly 64 percent over the last two years and the number of individual donors has increased by over 30 percent.

Prior to his position at Boys Town, Hofmann spent almost 25 years working in intercollegiate athletics, primarily in the external revenue generating areas. Hofmann worked at Boston University, Virginia Commonwealth University, Merrimack College, Niagara University and Lehigh University. At each institution he established site records in revenue generation in the areas of fundraising, ticket sales and corporate sales. Hofmann also currently serves as an adjunct professor at Southern New Hampshire University where he teaches leadership courses in the school's MBA program. 

Hofmann earned his Master of Education from East Stroudsburg University in sports management and Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Bonaventure University in mass communications where he was also a member of the school's Division I tennis program. He currently resides with his wife Sue in Northborough, Massachusetts.

Eli Escrogin is the Senior Director of Program Operations for community-based programs at Boys Town New England. She joined Boys Town eight years ago as the first LIFT with Boys Town supervisor. Using the Boys Town model of care, Eli successfully implemented the LIFT program in one of Rhode Island’s four core cities most impacted by poverty. Eli worked diligently to address the barriers to school success of students and their families. Today, the LIFT program serves hundreds of teachers, students and their families annually.

In 2018, Eli was promoted to Director of Community Support Services where she has supported other sites across Boys Town in the replication of the LIFT with Boys Town program. Further, she and her team have enhanced the Boys Town Visitation Program, which helps families reduce barriers by linking them to needed resources, advocating for them, navigating systems and empowering them by teaching them these skills for lasting behavioral change. In the last five years, 180 families have been reunified after successful completion of this program.

Eli holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Rhode Island in human development and family science and a master’s degree in human services administration from Bellevue University. Eli, her husband Augustus and two handsome sons reside in Cranston, Rhode Island.

Melissa Dillon is in her third year at Boys Town New England. As the Program Support Specialist, she oversees full-site operations and supports all programs. Melissa previously served as Foster Family Services Administrative Assistant where she developed many systems, including compliance standards and contract regulations with EEC and Medicaid. Her hard work resulted in successful youth file audits in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Her audit practices have since been utilized throughout the organization.

Prior to her tenure at Boys Town New England, Melisa served in several roles for the Fall River Deaconess Home, including Program Director. She has also taught behavioral management tactics. Melissa holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Roger Williams College and a Medication Administration Program (MAP) certification. She is also trained in crime prevention intervention; crisis intervention; adult, child and infant CPR; and first aid.

Jocelynn Rego is in her first year serving as Site Financial Officer in New England. Jocelynn oversees all business aspects of Boys Town New England including financial reporting, contracts, payroll and program budget management.

Prior to her position at Boys Town, Rego spent six years as Director of Budgeting at Roger Williams University. Prior to working at Roger Williams, Rego worked at Hinckley Yachts for 11 years.

Rego earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Rhode Island in accounting. She currently resides with her husband Gregg and her two children, Liv, and Andrew in Portsmouth, Rhode Island.
