Tanya Rasher-Miller, LIMHP, NCC, is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner and a Nationally Certified Counselor who specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy with children, adolescents and their families. She has experience working with young children in their home, the classroom and the office. Tanya received her master’s degree counseling and a school psychology endorsement from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
Rasher-Miller has specialty training working with young children, their families and their teachers in evidenced-based interventions such as Positive Behavioral Supports (PBS). She is a rater for the Teaching Pyramid Observation Tool (TPOT) and the Pyramid Infant-Toddler Observation Scale (TIPTOS) and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She has been a foster and adoptive parent. She believes in working collaboratively with families to set goals and be an active part of their child’s treatment.
She enjoys animals of all kinds, going to the lake, gardening, being creative and spending time with family and friends.
