Back to School at Boys Town!

We have an annual tradition when Boys Town kids go back to school. Our kids are greeted on their first day with cheers and words of encouragement from our dedicated staff and families. We're there to wish them a school year that is safe, healthy and filled with joy for each of these amazing boys and girls. 

For most kids, back to school means fresh notebooks, a new backpack, the buzz of seeing friends again. But for many Boys Town youth, it means something they've never had before.

Some grew up in homes where no one asked about their day. Others never had a quiet place to do homework, or an adult who believed in them. So the first day of class, the first teacher who really listens, the first small win, it all lands differently.

They learn to trust. To belong. To feel like a kid.
