Boys Town
Youth Impact Award Champions

Announcing Boys Town South Florida Youth Impact Award Recipients: Jill Coleman and Rebecca Soylemez.

The 2026 Community Action Summit is both a celebration of 35 years of service to our community and an opportunity to address an issue affecting families today: screen addiction and family well-being.

At each Summit, we nominate a community partner with a Youth Impact Award who is a changemaker in the community and promotes projects that benefit this generation's youth. Please join us as we officially recognize this year's Boys Town South Florida Youth Impact Award recipients: Jill Coleman and Rebecca Soylemez.

Rebecca and Jill launched the Palm Beach County chapter of MAMA, Mothers Against Media Addiction. MAMA is a grassroots nonprofit organization that unites parents and caring adults to advocate for policies and changes that combat screen addiction among children and youth. With MAMA's launch in Palm Beach, the organization has grown to more than 600 members countywide.

Over the past two years, their work has included hosting parent education events, meeting with state and federal legislators, speaking regularly before the Palm Beach County School District Board and partnering with organizations nationwide.

We are honored to recognize Jill and Rebecca at this year's Community Action Summit --and we'd love for you to be there to meet them, hear their story and be part of this important conversation. There is still time to reserve your seat!
