This past holiday season, Boys Town Nevada was blessed by an outpouring of kindness and support that has made an immeasurable difference in the lives of those we serve. From food drives to toy donations, financial contributions and other generous efforts from the Southern Nevada community, the holiday spirit has truly shined through the organization. Local businesses, families and individuals have come together to ensure that no child or family served by Boys Town Nevada are forgotten during this special time of year. Thanks to organizations such as Hospitality Management, The Josephs Foundation, Avenir Memory Care and Toys for Tots, we have been able to provide essential supplies and joyful gifts to those who need them most.
One of the most heartwarming moments this past holiday season was the gift donation drop-offs by Hospitality Management Group. Hospitality Management Group joined us to assemble gifts and deliver cheer to families and individuals who might otherwise go without. The smiles on their faces were a reminder of how much this generosity means and how far it goes. A special thank you goes out to our partners in the community. Hospitality Management has been instrumental in organizing drives for 4 years, ensuring that we can provide a memorable holiday for the families we serve. Their dedication and commitment to helping others is a true reflection of the spirit of giving and we are beyond grateful!
One family felt the impact of this generosity deeply. Vernell and her two children, Jeremiah and Princess, were part of our Holidays Adopt-a-Family program. Vernell shared, “On behalf of Jeremiah and Princess, I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for your incredible generosity through the Holidays Adopt-a-Family program. Your kindness brought so much joy to our family this holiday season, and we are truly grateful.” She continued, “The thoughtful gifts and support made this Christmas unforgettable for us. It is difficult to express how much it means to know that someone cares and is willing to lend a helping hand. Your generosity reminded us of the true spirit of the holiday season – love, compassion and community.”
Jeremiah couldn’t stop smiling when he opened his gaming station and Bluetooth speaker, and Princess has been absolutely thrilled with her camera and new shoes.
“She just LOVES her shoes!” Vernell exclaimed. “As for me, your thoughtfulness has lifted a burden and warmed my heart in ways I cannot fully describe. Thank you once again for being a beacon of hope and happiness in our lives. We will always cherish your kindness and carry it forward in the years to come. May your kindness return to you tenfold.”
Last year’s holiday season touched the hearts of our staff and supporters here at Boys Town Nevada as we have witnessed how powerful it is when a community comes together.
