This summer, Boys Town Nevada was proud to partner with the Nevada Children’s Heart Foundation's Camp Mend-A-Heart, a free, medically supervised camp that gives children and teens living with heart conditions the opportunity to build confidence, make friends and create lasting memories in a supportive environment.
As part of this collaboration, Boys Town Nevada provided behavioral health support throughout Camp Mend-A-Heart, helping create a safe, welcoming and encouraging environment for campers, volunteers and staff. This support helped foster meaningful connections, promote emotional well-being and ensure everyone could fully participate in the camp experience.
Camp Mend-A-Heart is designed to empower young "Heart Warriors," reminding them they are not alone in their journey. By helping create a supportive and caring atmosphere, Boys Town Nevada contributed to an environment where children could build resilience, strengthen their confidence and enjoy the fun and friendship that make camp such a meaningful experience.
