As a new school year begins, Boys Town Nevada is proud to continue expanding our reach by supporting students, families and schools. Through our Lift Education program, we are strengthening partnerships across Nevada and helping students build the skills they need to succeed both academically and personally.
For the 2026-27 school year, Boys Town Nevada is excited to welcome Northside Elementary School in Elko to the program. After witnessing the positive impact Lift has had at Flag View Intermediate School, Northside Elementary partnered with Boys Town Nevada to bring additional support and resources directly to its students and families. Principal Jeff Revier recently met with our team and states he “looks forward to supporting students, families and staff as we begin this exciting new partnership."
Through Lift, Boys Town Nevada works alongside schools to support students experiencing behavioral challenges, attendance concerns or other barriers to success. By providing individualized guidance, skill-building opportunities and family support, the program helps students strengthen relationships, improve school engagement and achieve success both inside and outside the classroom.
The addition of Northside Elementary reflects Boys Town Nevada's ongoing commitment to expanding services throughout the state. Today, Lift team members are embedded in elementary, middle and high schools across Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, Elko and Winnemucca, providing direct support where students spend most of their day. This school year, the Lift program is projected to impact nearly 17,500 students statewide, marking a significant milestone in our mission to help children and families overcome challenges and thrive.
Our growth in Northern Nevada has been made possible through the federal Full-Service Community Schools Grant and our partnership with Communities In Schools of Nevada. These collaborative efforts allow us to bring additional resources directly into schools, ensuring students receive the support they need to stay connected, engaged and on the path to success.
