We ended 2025 with hearts full, reflecting on a season filled with generosity, warmth, and the kind of community spirit that makes our mission possible.
Thanks to the Josephs Foundation and the generosity of board member Chef Sam Marvin, 32 families received everything they needed to enjoy a meaningful Thanksgiving at home. From turkeys to treats, this donation was a beautiful reminder of how much can be accomplished when our community comes together.
As the season continued, our Winter Coat Drive helped ensure children and families across Southern Nevada stayed warm through the winter. With community partners Sambalatte and Massage Envy hosting drop‑off locations, supporters donated new coats and cold‑weather essentials for families in need. The generosity didn’t stop there, Shane Young of Young Law Group and Stacy Watkins of Lexicon Bank each offered a $1,000 matching donation, turning every gift into something even greater. Thanks to this kindness, we were able to provide warm coats to our partners at Communities In Schools, including students at JD Smith Middle School, helping local families feel cared for, supported, and ready to face the winter with confidence.
Then came one of the most heartwarming moments of the year: Our Adopt-A-Family Gift Delivery. Our friends from Homewood Suites by Hilton, Home2 Suites by Hilton, Hampton by Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn, My Place Hotels, and SpringHill Suites by Marriott brought Christmas magic to Boys Town Nevada families. One parent said it best: “I have never seen so many gifts in one place.” Their generosity turned homes into holiday wonderlands and ensured each child felt special and celebrated.
We topped off the season with a festive win, earning first place in Boyd Gaming’s Trees of Hope Competition at Suncoast Hotel and Casino. With the support of voters and community cheerleaders, we took home a $3,000 prize to further our work with children and families across Nevada.
Throughout this unforgettable holiday season at Boys Town Nevada, every act of kindness made a difference. We are deeply grateful to all our partners, donors, and friends for helping us impact 23,147 lives. Together, we ended 2025 with warmth, hope, and community at our core.
