Hire More. Help More. Save More.

Over the past three years, Boys Town Nevada has become agile and resilient in finding new ways to be true to our mission-- helping more children and saving more lives. I am proud of the work we have accomplished as a growing nonprofit and pledge to serve even more children and families in our community this upcoming year. Our growth has resulted from the establishment of new partnerships and collaborations, all designed to bring our mission to life. Over the last year, we have served over 5,000 children and impacted more than 49,000.

At Boys Town Nevada, we continue to deepen our roots in the community and work tirelessly to enable and empower life changes across generations. Our new partnership with the Collaboration Center Foundation provides additional space for our mental health professionals, enabling us to successfully reach more children and families in need of behavioral and mental health services and those with Autism diagnoses. Through this partnership, we have tested more than 300 kids for Autism since June 2021.

Our focus for 2023 is to continue to grow our educational program, LIFT Together with Boys Town SM  within the Clark County School District (CCSD). By August, our LIFT Together program will be in more than 85 CCSD schools, so we are actively training and investing in our staff to continue to make an impact in our community, as well as hiring an additional 40 team members to support CCSD, After eight years here, I have seen first-hand how our LIFT Together program significantly improves the behavior and mental health needs of the kids and families of the Southern Nevada schools.

We look forward to the results of the many new opportunities we are pursuing to positively impact our community.  We are anxious to share our stories of hope and change, including the one about the Flores family featured in this newsletter's Family Spotlight.
