Helping Protect Those Who Protect Boys Town

When it comes to protecting a community, having the right equipment makes all the difference. Thanks to a grant from the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation, the Boys Town Fire Department is now better supported in the field.

The department recently used the funding to purchase new sets of custom-fit bunker gear for its firefighters. This gear improves safety, mobility, and performance in high-risk situations, helping first responders stay protected and work more effectively when it matters most.

Not long after receiving the new gear, Boys Town firefighters were called to assist with wildfire response efforts across Nebraska. In challenging conditions, they were able to rely on their equipment to carry out their duties safely.
