Dear Boys Town Washington DC Community,
It is an honor to share with you that at Boys Town Washington DC, we are celebrating our 30th anniversary! We have reached this remarkable milestone thanks to you. Your generous support has enabled us to serve youth and families in need within our community for the last three decades and for that, we are eternally grateful!
Thirty years ago, a vision that sought to provide hope, guidance, and a brighter future to the young lives who needed it most was brought to life here in our nation's capital. Over the years, Boys Town Washington DC has not only served as a safe haven for our youth, but has become a beacon of resilience and positive change. This journey has been marked by countless stories of triumph, growth, and empowerment, all made possible by the unwavering support of our staff, volunteers, donors and the entire community.
As we celebrate this milestone, we reflect on the lives that have been transformed, the hurdles that have been overcome, and the dreams that have been realized within the walls of Boys Town. It's a testament to the power of compassion, mentorship, and love … the values that lie at the very core of our mission.
The next thirty years holds infinite possibilities for us as we forge new relationships, teach new skills and touch new lives. We are continuing to expand our Behavioral Health Clinic further into the community to increase access to care for those in need. We also are serving more schools than ever before through our Show Up Stand Out truancy reduction program, and we are moving into our third year of Successful Futures, our program that supports youth with social skills instruction and career opportunities that will sustain them through life.
Our 30th anniversary is a tribute to every child who has shown bravery in the face of uncertainty and taken hold of the opportunity to forge a new path forward. We are honored to have been part of their stories!
We also want to thank our generous donors and supporters who have contributed their time, resources, and hearts to Boys Town Washington DC. It's our collective effort that has enabled us to reach this significant milestone and we look forward to working together in the future as we continue to provide a nurturing environment that cultivates academic growth, character development, leadership skills, and overall well-being.
Again, we thank you for being a part of our journey by supporting the dreams of our youth and believing in the power of transformation. We look forward to the future and the countless lives we will continue to have the privilege of positively impacting for generations to come.
