Boys Town Washington DC youth recently had the opportunity to volunteer and give back to their community.
Boys from the Snell Home took it upon themselves to coordinate a mission of giving back to the homeless population in the Northwest region of Washington DC. The youth networked with different organizations, giving them the opportunity to talk about Boys Town and their personal experiences, and to gather supplies to donate to the homeless.
The Snell Home put together sandwiches to hand out along with chips and water. Together, they were able to provide over 40 individuals with a meal.
The boys were extremely excited to bring awareness of Boys Town to the community as well as lend a helping hand. They loved giving back to their community so much that they are already planning on providing more services to the DMV in the coming months! We can't wait to see what they accomplish next!
