Honoring Kyle’s Legacy: A Powerful Weekend at the 11th Annual Kyle’s Mile

This past weekend, we had the profound honor of participating in the 11th Annual Kyle’s Mile in Iowa—a heartfelt event that continues to make a lasting impact in the fight against suicide.

Kyle’s Mile was founded by Byron Cooper in memory of his son, Kyle, whose life was tragically lost to suicide. What began as a personal tribute has grown into a powerful movement, bringing together riders, families, friends, and community members from across the region. Each mile traveled is a step toward healing, remembrance, and hope.

This year’s ride was especially meaningful, with all proceeds benefiting the Boys Town National Hotline (800-448-3000). The Hotline provides 24/7 support to kids and families in crisis, ensuring that no one has to face their darkest moments alone. Thanks to the generosity of participants and supporters, more lives will be touched, and more voices will be heard.

We are deeply grateful to Byron Cooper for his unwavering dedication and to everyone who joined the ride, volunteered, or donated. Your commitment to raising awareness and offering support helps keep Kyle’s legacy alive—and reminds others that they are never alone.

Together, we are spreading hope. Together, we are saving lives.
