Boys Town Louisiana to Honor the New Orleans Pelicans

New Orleans – Boys Town Louisiana will be honoring the New Orleans Pelicans organization at this year’s Boys Town “Spirit of Youth” Fundraiser. The Pelicans have been long-time community partners to Boys Town Louisiana. The organization exemplifies Boys Town ideals and supports the mission by visiting youth, donating supplies, and giving youth some incredible once-in-a-lifetime game and player experiences.

“We are truly excited to be able to honor the Pelicans this year with Boys Town New Louisiana’s ‘Spirit of Youth’ award”. Rashain Carriere, Executive Director of Boys Town Louisiana continues, “Because of the partnership with the Pelicans, Boys Town New Orleans has received a multi-year commitment from the NBA Foundation to support our newly launched Successful Futures program”.

Boys Town Louisiana will be hosting its second annual “Spirit of Youth” Awards Friday September 29, to celebrate the talents and achievements of youth in the Family Homes, Intervention & Assessment, and Successful Futures Programs. The event will be held at Audubon Tea Room, 6500 Magazine Street, New Orleans, Louisiana.
