Boys Town Louisiana Honored as One of Six 2022 Nonprofit Organizations of the Year By New Orleans CityBusiness Magazine

New Orleans CityBusiness Magazine has recognized six nonprofit organizations that have gone above and beyond in serving the needs of local women and/or children in 2022 and Boys Town Louisiana is one of those organizations.

The publication also recognizes 50 women from the area as its Women of the Year honorees whose successes in business and contributions to the community have made them movers and shakers in the region. Boys Town Louisiana's Rashain Carriere-Williams had previously been recognized by the publication for that award in 2020 and 2021.

“This is a special honor for Boys Town Louisiana and all of our staff," said Carriere-Williams. “To be recognized along with all the other outstanding individuals and organizations in the region is something everyone associated with Boys Town can take pride in. We are so proud."

New Orleans CityBusiness recognized all the honorees at a special event in November at the New Orleans Museum of Art. Boys Town Louisiana was represented at the event by Carriere-Williams, James Howell, Euphoria Warren, and Lawrence Budget.

A special CityBusiness publication spotlighting all the Women of the Year and Nonprofit Leaders honorees also was distributed in November.
