Spencer Tracy as Father Flanagan
In 1938, Oscar-winning actor Spencer Tracy brought Father Flanagan's story to life in the MGM film "Boys Town." Tracy's powerful portrayal earned him the Academy Award for Best Actor, and the movie became a global sensation that inspired similar institutions worldwide.
