Walk. Listen.
Fundraise.
Set up a fundraiser and walk a mile to support mental health programs at Boys Town.
Join Boys Town’s Music and a Mile
Did you know suicide is the second leading cause of death among youth aged 10–14? We must be there when kids need us most. That’s why we created Music and a Mile—to give supporters like you a chance to move for mental health, share your story and inspire others to join the cause.

How It Works
1. Walk a Mile With Your Favorite Mood-Boosting Songs
Whether it’s a solo stroll or a group walk with friends, lace up your shoes and hit play on the songs that lift your spirits.
2. Start a Fundraiser or Give Today
Children across America are suffering. Your support could provide immediate mental health support to kids in crisis. Start a fundraiser to involve your friends and family, or make a monthly commitment of $18 to help more children read 18 years and beyond.

Kenna’s Lifesaving Call to the Boys Town National Hotline
She was alone in a field, preparing to end it all. It was a fluke, really. She was just absentmindedly scrolling through her phone, thinking about the people who would miss her, when she stumbled upon the Boys Town National Hotline number. She made the call, and on the other end of the line, she found what she calls "an angel" who saved her life. When you participate in Music and a Mile, you're helping provide lifesaving mental health resources for children in crisis like Kenna.
