True to Boys Town’s ideals, the Early Childhood Development Center is more than a building —  it’s an opportunity to advance state-of-the-art design, informed by cutting-edge research and years of experience. The 24,000-square-foot, purpose-built center will feature four preschool classrooms, two infant rooms and two toddler rooms. Its expanded footprint will increase enrollment capacity, serve children from six weeks through school age, and offer before-and after-school programming, expanding access for more families.

Purpose-built spaces—including therapy rooms, a sensory-motor room and an art studio —will support individualized services. A protected central courtyard provides an acoustically optimized outdoor space, supporting listening, learning and communication.

This specifically designed building, together with decades of experience running one of the few Early Childhood Development Centers for children who are deaf or hard of hearing in the country, positions Boys Town to serve as a blueprint for programs across the nation.
