What if an old trophy could become a meaningful reminder of a child’s accomplishments? Boys Town Nevada is giving unused trophies a new purpose through a community donation drive that will help recognize local youth for their progress, achievements and hard work.
Celebrating children’s accomplishments can do more than mark a special moment. Recognition and encouragement can help kids build confidence, strengthen self-esteem and feel proud of their progress. Paula Lawrence, Development Director for Boys Town Nevada, recently joined FOX5’s Studio 5 to talk about how these moments can support children’s mental well-being.
