Boys Town’s National Reach and Impact

April 28th, 2015     By Father Steven Boes, President and National Executive Director of Boys Town

Boys Town History, Father Flanagan, Healing Families, Saving Children

father-boesOn beautiful spring days like today, I love to sit outside and reflect on all of God’s glorious deeds. The miracles of the heart that happen for the young people in our care at Boys Town would certainly be high on that list for me. What an absolute blessing it is to see Father Flanagan’s dream continue every day in the lives of the children and families with whom we work.

What started nearly a hundred years ago with a few boys and Father Flanagan’s vision of what child care should be has grown to include 11 affiliate locations across the country and the Boys Town Integrated Continuum of Care ® whose services touch the lives of more than 2 million people each year. Every day, thousands of Boys Town employees dedicate themselves to helping children and families in need. I am proud to be part of the Boys Town family.

I could go on and on about how Boys Town is changing the lives of people for the better every day, but I’ll let this video do the talking instead.

Thank you for your continued support of Boys Town’s mission, and may God bless you for helping and praying for those in greatest need.
