During halftime of the February 4 Boys Town basketball game, Boys Town recognized Godfather’s Pizza for their continued support and presented Senior Vice President Kathy Johnson with a basketball signed by the players and coaches.

Since 2004, Godfather’s Pizza has been a generous supporter of Boys Town and has donated more than two million dollars for youth care programs and the Boys Town National Hotline®, whether it’s providing pizza to special events like New Year’s Eve or opening a relaxation room for the Hotline counselors to use after a difficult call.

Many Godfather’s employees are also very involved on Boys Town Home Campus. “In addition to providing our kids with a lot of great pizza, their generous staff consistently volunteer at Boys Town events and raise money for Christmas gifts for the Boys Town youth who are not able to be with their families during the holidays,” said Herb Hames, Senior Development Director for Boys Town Home Campus. The employees also help with mentoring, running the silent auction room for the Booster Banquet, and even becoming members of the athletic Boosters.

The annual tradition of recognizing Godfather’s at halftime gives us the opportunity to show how appreciative Boys Town is for their continuous support.
