About Boys Town Louisiana

Boys Town Louisiana opened in 1989, and today meets the needs of youth and families through a variety of Integrated Continuum of Care services. The site has two Treatment Family Homes^SM for Adolescents in New Orleans and provides In-Home Family Services^SM to troubled families through its office in Baton Rouge. At-risk children find a safe place to live through Boys Town Louisiana’s Foster Family Services^SM, including the Host Home program that provides short-term emergency care. The site also partners with the New Orleans Recovery School District to offer the Community Based Abstinence Education project, which teaches schoolchildren about healthy and unhealthy dating relationships. These services and programs touch the lives of 7,600 children and families in Louisiana each year.

Boys Town Louisiana is headquartered in New Orleans. Dennis Dillon, Ph.D., serves as the Executive Director.
