Leadership

Father Steven E. Boes is the current national executive director of Boys Town. An independent Board of Trustees, made up of a diverse group of local and national business and community leaders, helps provide corporate governance for Father Flanagan's Boys' Home (Boys Town).

The board is not involved in the daily operations of Boys Town, which are overseen by the  Boys Town Executive Team. This team is composed of senior leaders within the organization working to ensure that each Boys Town department lives the mission every day.

Father Boes follows in the footsteps of four visionary and compassionate leaders at Boys Town. Since 2005, Boes has served as executive director. Under his guidance, Boys Town continues to expand its care across America. As one of the largest nonprofit child care agencies in the country, Boys Town provides compassionate treatment for the behavioral, emotional and physical problems of children and families.

Each year, Boys Town touches the lives of more than 2 million people. Boys Town founder Father Flanagan's simple dream to make the world a better place for children thrives today in the hearts and minds of our current leaders and staff.
