    After losing her mom at a young age, Carley was moved around from place to place. It wasn't until she got to Boys Town that she finally had a place to call home. With the burdens of her past being lifted from her shoulders, she was able to find purpose and ultimately success. A recent graduate of Nebraska Methodist College of Nursing, she is now an inspiration to not only other children at Boys Town, but to her mentors and teachers as well.

    Robyn thought that violence was normal in a domestic relationship. When she couldn't find the courage to leave her abusive boyfriend, the state stepped in and removed her three children from her care. Today, thanks to Boys Town, Robyn is on the path to recovery and a reunited family.

  • The Gift of Hearing: Chloe's Story

    Chloe was born with bilateral, profound hearing loss. The family was referred to the Boys Town National Research Hospital to learn more about cochlear implants. Over the course of several months, Chloe received an implant in each ear and is now undergoing therapy with her team of doctors to learn how to use the implants and hear.

    When Sommer first came to Boys Town, the idea of a safe, supportive family was just an abstraction—something she read about in books or saw on TV. Today, Sommer is attending college, studying psychology with the intent of eventually becoming a lawyer.
