A Message to Our Stakeholders
Father Edward J. Flanagan devoted his life to the plight of children who needed someone to believe in them. Now, more than 100 years later, his legacy of hope and healing for children and families in need continues.
At Boys Town, we know that children and families across America are struggling, and we believe that everyone deserves a second chance, and an opportunity to heal and grow. That is why in the spirit of Father Flanagan’s mission, Boys Town continues to offer lifechanging care through our vast array of physical, behavioral and mental health services. With unwaivering determination, we are helping families to feel empowered by maintaining a strong focus on providing preventative and primary care to assist them in their own homes.
This past year has been one of growth and progress. With more than 40 years of research experience, our ground-breaking findings are being translated into innovative care and treatment for the children and families we serve, helping them to live healthier lives. We currently offer 19 different pediatric specialties and are home to a world-class pediatric neuroscience research center, offering services not found elsewhere.
On our main campus, we opened our new Educational Center and expanded our educational programs, which are based on our research-proven Boys Town Education Model®, through our work with schools and educators nationwide.
Our Successful Futures program, developed to assist youth with the difficult transition from high school to adult life, through planning, continuing education/training and workforce development, is having a tremendously positive impact on participants. In fact, we are already working on plans to make this program available to more young adults across the country going forward.
We extend our gratitude and thanks for the generosity and efforts of our Boys Town employees, volunteers and supporters, who ensure that the Boys Town legacy of second chances and opportunities to heal and grow continues. Together, we are helping to build a brighter future for the children, families and patients we serve.
