Trying to stop school avoidance is really important because you have to set up those rules and stick to them.  I would say that if you have a temperature okay or if you have vomited, then you can come home. But other than that you are staying at school. You're bleeding then okay. You have broken something then you can come home. If you need to take a little break in the nurse's office that's fine but you're only doing that once a day max. Then we would have to decrease that further if they're going in every day but you're going to have to set up the expectations and stick to it and not allow them to come home every time they have a headache or a stomachache unless they are really sick.
