How can I make dropping my toddler off at a new daycare go smoothly?
When you're dropping your kid off to a new facility for the first time you want to make sure to make it real matter of fact. You should act like it's just really not a big deal and this is just what we do. You should be very laid back and go with the flow and give them the impression that it's just not a big deal. If you notice that your child is starting to develop some separation anxiety after they've already been going to day care and they've been at that facility for a while or if you're transitioning to a new facility or they're going for the first time, then the most important thing that you want to focus on when dropping them off is not making it a huge deal, not making it real emotional and conveying that you love them. This makes that separation kind of laid back and clean.
