Rachele Merk, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist at the Boys Town
Nevada Behavioral Health Clinic in Las Vegas. She specializes in
providing evidence-based care to children and families through
individual and family therapy, and psychodiagnostic evaluations for
learning, cognitive, and social-emotional concerns. Dr. Merk received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2017 from the
University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). She completed an APA accredited
internship at UCLA’s Semel Institute of Neuroscience and Human Behavior
within the OCD and Intensive Anxiety Track, focusing on providing care
to disorders such as OCD, selective mutism and body focused repetitive
behaviors (e.g. trichotillomania and Tourette’s). She completed her
postdoctoral fellowship at UNLV’s the PRACTICE: A community mental
health clinic, focusing on providing clinical supervision and training
to clinicians, and evidence-based care through group and individual
therapy for young adults, and children and their parents. Dr. Merk
enjoys providing evidence-based treatment for anxiety, selective mutism,
obsessive compulsive disorder and related body-focused repetitive
behaviors (e.g. skin picking, Tourette’s and hair pulling
(trichotillomania)), depression, parenting issues, disruptive behaviors
and ADHD.
