Surviving Vacation With Toddlers

toddlers.jpgYour bags are packed. The itinerary is set. The snacks are made, and the drinks are cold. Time to roll!

Oops, not so fast. Might you be forgetting something?

In the excitement and anticipation leading up to the big family vacay, did you overlook one small (but adorable!) detail? You’re traveling with a toddler (or two). Having little ones along means almost anything can and will happen.

Sometimes the “anything” is unpleasant, especially when the scenery becomes tedious, the snacks turn stale, the drinks go warm and the passengers get antsy. Don’t let the inevitable irritations and frustrations of family travel strand you in an unhappy headspace.

Be prepared and have a plan with our Vacation Survival Guide for Traveling with Toddlers. It’s a roadmap guaranteed to keep you on Sanity Street by showing you how to…

  • Minimize potential problems before you even step out the door.
  • Convince everyone to keep their cool (thanks to vacation contracts!).
  • Make idle time (waiting at the airport, riding in the car, etc.) more fun.
  • Keep the peace (or quickly find it again after tantrums and meltdowns).
