Color Me Rad Raises $5,500 for Boys Town

On July 26th, 5,000 runners dressed in white gathered at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ, to willingly sprint through clouds of color in support of Boys Town New York. Selected as the local charity partner for the Color Me Rad 5K, $5,500 was raised as participants were covered with brightly colored powders and gels.

Not only does that contribution help save vulnerable children and heal families in NYC, the event also helped spread the word about Boys Town’s mission in creating stronger, healthier communities!

Boys Town New York was not only involved as a beneficiary, but several of Boys Town New York’s staff and friends volunteered their time. Some got up bright and early to begin setting up for the event, while others handed out water to participants. Check out photos from this colorful day on our Facebook page.

Thank you to those who joined us for a fun day of exercise and volunteerism for great cause!
