Run anywhere. Help everywhere.
After careful consideration, we have decided that the 2021 Memorial Day Run is going to be an entirely virtual event.
What is a virtual run?
A virtual run is a race that you can walk or run from any location. You can complete your distance on a road, track, trail or treadmill. Then, simply submit your time before the cut-off. You’ll officially be a virtual racer!
How do I sign up for the Memorial Day Run virtual run?
It’s easy! Click here to visit our registration page.
What do I get when I sign up for the virtual run?
When you sign up for the Memorial Day Run virtual race, you will receive a participant t-shirt, a downloadable certificate and an e-goody bag with exclusive participant offers.
How do I submit my time?
The Friday before the race, registered participants will receive an email with a link to our time submission portal. The portal will be live starting at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, May 29th, and it will close at 8:59 a.m. on Tuesday, May 31st. The Memorial Day Run operates on the honor system. You do not need to do anything special to validate your time – we trust you!
Are there awards for the virtual run?
Every runner will receive a downloadable certificate to commemorate this year’s event. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to compete on a national level! Awards will be mailed to the top three male and female race winners in two age divisions (12 and under, 13 and older) for each distance.
When will I receive my race materials?
Participants will receive a pre- and post-race e-goody bag with special offers, race weekend information and participant perks. T-shirts will be mailed following the race.
