Everything Boys Town does is driven by industry-leading research aimed at ensuring that the people we serve get better. The Boys Town National Research Institute (NRI)^SM conducts applied research focused on understanding the nature of problems faced by children and their families. The NRI’s^SM Five-Year Study and Sixteen-Year Study illustrate that the positive changes youth experience in our residential program.

Recent follow-up studies of families in Boys Town’s In-Home Family Services^SM programs also show very positive results. These programs provide intensive treatment for families that are struggling to stay together.
