Holiday Happiness at Boys Town Texas

The holiday spirit is alive at Boys Town Texas! 

To celebrate, Boys Town Texas Foster Family Services had a Christmas party for its youth and families.

More than 100 guests attended the FFS Christmas party hosted by Laurel Ridge Treatment Center. Families enjoyed a turkey dinner, a visit from Santa and musical entertainment! Saxophonist Jimmy Steemer and two youths provided the entertainment: Amber played the cello and Felicia read poetry she had written about her adoption.

Toys for all the children were donated and wrapped by several groups ahead of time and Laural Ridge Treatment Center provided gift cards for the foster families. Toy donations were possible because of Boys Town Foster Parents Enriquez and Janie Perez, a toy drive from the United Services Automobile Association employees and a service project toy drive from eighth grade Catholic school student, Joseph Leal.
