Community Brings Christmas to Boys Town Texas Youth and Families

The new year is a bright one for Boys Town Texas children and families thanks to the generosity of dozens of local businesses and community members!

As part of their holiday philanthropy, businesses encouraged their customers and employees to bring gifts for the children as part of the “Angel Tree” project or by “adopting” a family in need of a Christmas miracle.

“We always get such amazing response and support from the community during the holidays,” said Janet Pedrotti, Boys Town Texas Associate Development Director. “Many of our families cannot afford Christmas gifts for their children so when a stranger shows up with Christmas gifts for the entire family, it’s life-changing.”

Thank you to Jordan Ford and Olive Garden (Bitters location) for participating in this year’s Angel Tree project and to RiverStone Wealth Investments for adopting a family. We also want to give a thank you to Mike Weiss of 4M Realty for making Christmas possible for three families through his Adopt a Needy Family program.

And no Christmas miracle would be complete without a jet plane ride! For the third year in a row, Fligh Time Business Jets threw a “high flying” party for the kids in Boys Town’s Foster Family Services program. Santa even stopped by to deliver gifts to each child (donated by the Najim Family Foundation)!

“We just want to say a very sincere and heartfelt thank you to everyone who made Christmas so special for our children and families,” said Janie Cook, Boys Town Texas Executive Director. “The time and effort you give helps give hope to those starting to lose faith and that’s the best gift you can give.”
