Boys Town Texas Youth Receive Early Christmas Gift

Arriving on his own personal jet, Santa Claus treated Boys Town Texas youth with an early Christmas party December 19, complete with presents, aircraft tours and a Christmas lunch thanks to FlighTime Business Jets.
“One of the biggest highlights of the event was Santa arriving on a jet owned by Harvey Najim, one of the biggest philanthropists in the United States,” said Janie Cook, Boys Town Texas Executive Director. “FlighTime putting on the event meant a lot to Boys Town Texas and I’m so happy to say that it was a great success and our youth had a great time!”
“Christmas is a joyous occasion and one that should be shared by all, especially our children,” said Steve Guzek, General Manager of FlighTime Business Jets. “FlighTime Business Jets was pleased to have the children of Boys Town sharing our Christmas celebration this year.”
Many of the children at Boys Town Texas have never had a Christmas present before and FlighTime made it an extra special event for them. The children received a visit from Santa Claus who arrived in his own personal jet, carrying a personal gift chosen for each child. The youth also received the chance to tour an aircraft, meet and talk with pilots, have their pictures taken inside an aircraft and enjoy a festive Christmas lunch. Not only did the boys and girls get to celebrate Christmas, but they got to explore possible career choices.
“San Antonio has been good to FlighTime and what better way to give back than to share Christmas with its children,” said Guzek. “Aviation and aircraft excite young people and exposure may motivate them in the direction of math, science or engineering. We hope this event not only brought joy to these kids, but inspired them as well.”
