About Boys Town Texas

Boys Town Texas has been serving children and families of the Lone Star State through a wide variety of programs since opening its doors in 1989. Youth receive treatment and care in five Treatment Family Homes for Adolescents on a 26-acre campus in San Antonio. The site’s Treatment Foster Care Program provides safe homes in the community for children of all ages who have special treatment needs. Troubled families find the help they need through In-Home Family Services, and Child and Family Support Services offer Common Sense Parenting® classes for parents who want to improve the child-rearing skills they have and learn new ones. In 2009, Boys Town's Integrated Continuum of Care touched the lives of 78,769  people in Texas, including direct care to 501 children and 173 families.

Boys Town Texas is headquartered in San Antonio. Janie Cook serves as the Executive Director.
